A need to serve
Sometimes i feel a great need to serve, to help others in need. I don't have a large income and if i did i feel i would make use of it some way to come to the aid of others from a financial perspective.
The best I can do is offer prayer for those in a worse situation than myself.The power of prayer is a real tangible thing I feel.I can also volunteer to help the needy.
There are things we can all do to serve and give back to the world, where it is at times crying out for our help. We really are not at a loss to have an efffect in anothers life. Just saying "hello" or " how are you doing" to someone can make a big difference for them.There is nothing little in this life ,but only that which is seen through the lens of a limited mind.Let the heart lead the way because It doesn't compare big or small. It just sees the sincerity behind the action and intent.
So let's give whatever we can.

I have often thought that the emphasis put on "money" has disempowered
individuals in so many ways, including perpetrating the myth that one has nothing to give if one has little income.
A smile, a pat on the back a bit of wisdom, encouragement and sometimes just listening helps can help tremendously....remember the saying "teach them to fish rather than feeding them fish"? Empowering one to trust in our inner knowing, to trust in their innate gifts is a wonderful service and a great gift! Inspiring someone with your passion about life is equally a great gift...simple understanding is a great gift, and oh, the gifts in a genuine smile!
