solstice blessings

Many Blessings to you all, on the full moon we were instructed by Michael The archangel to meditate with the sword of light and truth during this day the summer solstice. The sword is a tool to help us navigate the waves of energy and illusion as we continue with the ascension process.

call ettiquette

It seems the some people have been experiencing a little trouble hearing Melissa during the calls. This is due to background noise that is being picked up. Below is a short list of things to do that will help alleviate some of the noise and will help make the call an enjoyable, and "distraction free," experience for all who participate. Thank you all for your cooperation.

everyday is earth day!

I have been interested in watching the media blitz for earth day and have been reading some of the quips and comments on the Treehugger web page.

Here is a little question I found interesting :)!

Full moon in Scorpio

Good morning it is early Sunday morning before the call.

I chose the cards of the week earlier today. After some centering and breathing I called in the circle, seeing Joni & Lila, Lenois, Teresa, Jim, Coral, Nurith, Dennis & Aurthur, Byrd, Brynn, Stephan, Jess, Melissa, Shannon,Linda, Andre, Seanna, Shannon, Amy, Alison, Shari,Frank, Pat, Patti, Lavender, Peggy,It was amazing how the circle just grew and grew, folks and angels stepping in and taking their place! The totems then arrived, the snake (transmutation) and the Butterfly (transformation)....No doubts, we are in a changing time!

A New Moon

Good Morning, There is a certain sence of mystery as I look out my window and see FOG. Where is Spring hiding?
Tonight just before midnight the Moon is 16 degrees Aries. In the lunar rythm the new moon represents new begginings...making it a good time to create and participate in ritual for changing and manifesting what we would like to experience in out lives. We will be having a free conference call later this evening to activate the energys of peace in our lives, individually and globaly...

lights out for EARTH HOUR

Earth Hour, started in Sydney, Australia March 31, 2007, when more than 2 million businesses and households in Sydney, including national icons such as the Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House—turned off their lights for one hour. "Earth Hour," as the event was dubbed, was a powerful demonstration of solidarity for the fight against global warming.

We've got snow!

Yup, snow and it is at least 12 inches I am up to my knees
trudging around to feed the birds. Tonight goes down to -3 I had kind of thought we were over the real cold stuff...guess not, Nashima tells me that there are daffodils in Virginia now, sounds good to me :)

It's not easy being green........

Sometimes when I am cleaning out yet another container for the recycle bin... I think of Kermit and his song, "it's not easy being green".. then I smile and keep cleaning..
At the same time there is some reality to this, in a consumer world where the products are more designed to seduce you into purchase AND where convenience is the word of the hour.....we have lots of containers/packages that are a waste. Not only is the actual container wasting away in a dump somewhere, but the energy and resources wasted to make said container and packaging....well you know all about it....any how recycling the suit bird containers is quite the process, it takes me a while to clean all of the fat out of the little corners AND I thought cleaning cat food cans was a mess! I am thinking that I would much rather have Large containers of tooth paste, than try cleaning out the little, plastic vessel it comes in! If we are clever enough to come up with all these cute little packages than I think we are cleaver enough to come up with ways to dispose of them properly or, Here's a thought!! make less of them in the first place!!I would much rather have some planer, easier container that I can go refill!

A beautiful valentine

We have had quite a storm, or maybe I should say, storms recently. Tuesday evening it snowed and iced all night dumping around 8 inches. Wed it precipitated all day long, sometimes rainy sleet, sometimes snow...but all day into the night. THIS morning lots more snow with a coating of Ice on top and underneath. My drive way looked like a skating pond after it was plowed. When I finished up work I realized that I had to go to the post office, BOY was I dragging my feet! We actually live in Hebron NY, but it has no post office so we have a Salem address. We end up being between the Argyle post office and the Salem one with Argyle being a little closer, any how I didn't feel like putting on the boots, and the hats and gloves and the coats.....(getting the whiny picture?) I ran out to start the car and brush off yet another coating of the white stuff, then came back in to collect the packages to go. Driving along the road I began to see what a beautiful day it was. The trees and bushes where coated in ice looking like delicate glass, on the way back the sun was setting casting a pink glow on the icy trees, it was so beautiful I found my self grinning, glad to be outside in such awesome beauty and enjoying my very own pink valentine view from mother nature!
