lights out for EARTH HOUR

Earth Hour, started in Sydney, Australia March 31, 2007, when more than 2 million businesses and households in Sydney, including national icons such as the Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House—turned off their lights for one hour. "Earth Hour," as the event was dubbed, was a powerful demonstration of solidarity for the fight against global warming.

This past Saturday, March 29th, 2008, "Earth Hour" as the event has been dubbed, was observed between the hours of 8&9 pm (in your local time zone). We had candles lit on the alter in the living room as we were holding a workshop on the weekend. At 7:45 we began to add to the candle power by lighting more, by 8 we turned off the lights and held a channeling circle. It was really lovely to share in the circle together by candle light.
What were some of your experiences with "Earth Hour"?

Look forward to hearing from you :)
