I was in New Mexico last week. Lannois has a coyote that comes into the rock garden and drinks out of the bird's water fountain. Every day I looked for him---no coyote! I arrived back home to New York Saturday night- Sunday morning coyote was in the yard by the bottom paddock. Go figure!!! I wondered was this going to be the energy of the week?
TUESDAY- It was cold this morning when I let roxy out side. I didn't think too much about it, a few hours later I looked out again and saw SNOW on the cars...later when I went out to feed Max is lunch I found the horse's water all frozen about 2 inches deep...so winter is here...I am not entirely sure that I am ready, never the less it has to be dealt with...as Quan Yin says "it's not the form it is how you meet it". Hopefully I will be patient and full of good humor. coyote has been a good reminder this week to let go and laugh...When I brought Max into the barn to feed him his grain I heard lots of thumping up in the hay loft, big mice? Noooo Lavender was getting out the heated water bucket for outside...a sure sign that winter is here to stay!
