Gratitude

Blessings,
I recently saw James Taylor being interviewed on T.V. He said he is now the happiest he has ever been in his life because he had learned to live his life with the attitude of gratitude. I silently thanked sweet baby James for putting that out on our national air waves. I have been practicing this for some time myself. I carry a polsihed stone in my pocket and througout the day it is a reminder of all that I do have. Even when my pockets are devoid of cash, I have my little reminder in my pocket that all is well. We are so fortunate to live in the United States where we have choices, and simple things like running water. I am most thankful for people who use their time and energy in helping others. Like the recent horse rescue many of you participated in, and in small endevors like listening to someone with a problem. Yes, We are blessed. AHO

Lately, when I awake in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep, I begin to count blessings. This affirmative practice puts a smile on my face as I settle back into the pillow and drop off. It works every time and as I wake up in the morning - ready to start the day, those blessings are what greet me Happy day:)

Blessings in the light

Hey Patti, Great post. It is wonderful to see celebrities
doing something positive with their fame rather than making the news never ending dramas!
Also thank you for sticking to your intent to write, weekly on the blog. Follow through is a powerful gift for the giver in that it builds positive energy and self esteem, ( nothing feels better than accomplishing something you set out to do no matter how small) AND a powerful gift for the receiver as it is inspiring to see some one, well, following through!
many blessings,
Webmaster
