Turtles and Hawk

Greetings,
I was blessed with a recent trip to Hawaii over the New Year holiday. While there I went scuba diving with a friend. The first dive was pretty disappointing. The coral reef was dead, bleached out. We saw a few small tropical fish nothing else. I was dealing with a broken fin and cold bones and I didn't even want to do another tank. I decided to suck it up and go for it and was sure glad I did. We were in the company of at least eight giant sea turtles. I had seen turtles before but nothing like this. I was close enough to swim up and touch them. That expeirence was definatly the highlight of my trip. When I checked the website and saw turtle had been drawn the message was clear, we need to protect our lands and waters. The reef where the turtles were was also dead. I never expected to find such problems in the middle of the pacific ocean. One week later I was walking with my dog in Northern NJ thinking about turtle when a very large Hawk began circling us. I knew that hawk would be in the cards the next day. I know Hawk has a message for me. I will look for hawk during the week and listen for the message.

Hi Patti, some of us are doing the 30 day affirmation program. On Saturday we started the 2nd segment which is the KNOW segment. The first 10 affirmations. are in the Flow segment, which for me, always flows easier than the KNOW. Any how both on Saturday and Sunday The action or focus was about being open to receive and blessing what is received no matter what form it comes in.....Along comes Hawk......I knew that the Messenger was going to be as important to me this week as the message. So far they have been interesting and wonderful..... it has been a good opportunity to let go of some judgments about the messenger and the message :)
Your turtles sound beautiful and yes i agree it is time to give back to the EARTH.

Dear Melissa,
Thank you for the information about saving our coral reefs. I know it is time for me to speak up about enviormental issues. The other experience I had while diving was watching my two dive buddies do destructive things and I was afraid to say anything to them about it. The following day I dragged one of them to the IMAX theater and watched a film about our endangered reef system. Well my friend walked out of the film with her jaw dropped, vowing to help conservation efforts. It was only then that I was able to talk about it and make her aware of the damage she had caused on the reef. I will look through the info and become more involved myself. Pehaps hawks message is to let go of fear and speak up. I do need to learn about speaking up with care. I tend to be very blunt and to the point which causes hurt feelings.
