This Full Moon Time

...Such an intense full moon time. Emotional highs and lows have been the dominant theme lately so I have been eagerly awaiting the storm to pass. Get better paced and so on. Suddenly I realized that the pacing is the issue, not so much the storm. And it is the emotions that drive the pacing and so the endless cycle begins again.

Compassionate Thoughts

It has been a sorrowful time these days, especially with the carnage at Virginia Tech. While my heart goes out to all the families of the students and teachers who lost their lives too soon, I feel the same towards the family of the shooter.

The Dream

I had an incredible dream the other night. And my recall is chrystal clear...I woke up in panic mode along with some deep feelings of inadequacy(the "I never do it quite right - always room for improvement" thing) A frequent pattern throughout my life. I was driving a large bus filled with children going on some kind of a field trip. I know I had done this before too. But there was a detour around the area we had stopped to let the kids go to the bathroom. There was another bus as well being driven by a person I know (my husband's partner's wife)I was showing her the ropes as if training her to "take over, or be added help"? I am not sure. Anyway, the kids are scattered and it is difficult to keep tabs on them. I am frantically doing head counts.....

missing the unity

Hi all,
After an uneventful trip home on sunday, I shared the wonderful retreat weekend with my husband.Seems that he was "there" as well. We had several same revelations:)

Yesterday, though, a profound feeling of loneliness struck me. I was missing the unity of hearts. Strength is in numbers! And then I remembered that a box had arrived while I was gone. There was a beautiful Kwan Yen inside...a gift from a dear friend (Thank you, Jim!) It was then that I remembered that I am never Alone. My spirits lifted as I was reminded that I am never without Spirit.
