This is one week that I have not forgotten the totem animal. Rabbit has been appearing around every corner. The energy of the week has been demanding in that I have had a number of decisions to make as well as things "coming at me" on every level.
The other night I met rabbit in the dream time. Rabbit was blind and being led up steps by dog. When I awoke I was perplexed, wondering what blind rabbit was telling me.
When I read the information for the dog totem ( loyalty) and re-read the rabbit information ( fear ) I realized that my "blind fears" had been pecking at me all week.I am in the process of a lot of changes ( change not being always welcomed by me in my habit patterns)and these changes are bringing up years of old fears. The dream showed me that I can be lead forward through the shadows and fears if I am loyal to my truth and my-self. I also felt that it showed me that I am not alone in/with my fears and I fervently thanked my guides!

Stephan,
You are not alone. A great many people in my life as well as me, have been mightily challenged with life changing events coming at a fast and furious rate lately.
There's an old part of me that wants to comfortably cling to the past - the way is was, but I have been catching it - stopping from going there and getting that it is not the change, but how I handle it. A new discipline? Baby steps? It's going to change anyway so I might as well embrace it. And in reflecting over other changes and seeing the end result, reminds me that the new end result usually is great!
On another note, I lost my loyal, faithful dog of 14 years, Scarlett, recently - another change. At first I did not feel her around and was devastated. But now I do know she is around - I do feel her now - and that gives me comfort.
I have been reading the animal totems daily and get great guidance from them. May you continue to as well. Good luck:)
Dogs have so many great characteristics, while loyalty is one of the greatest I think it is their unconditional love and acceptance that is the most endearing. Weather your scared, sad, worried or just feeling plain crazy dog is always there with a happy grin and a wagging tale. In fact at this very moment Roxy is looking at me and wagging her little stump of a tail! :) I have been out running errands this afternoon and she is telling me it's time to play!
Dog is a very powerful reminder of what it means to be loving, loyal and playful!

Yes I feel that dogs are a very incredible animal. The only animal that bears will mind is the dog. They will yield to a dog.Something about the energy that the dog gives off could be the secret.I also once saw a film where a dog was used to separate a male lion from a female lion in a zoo situation, because the caretakers of the lions didn't want them to mate at a certain time of this particular year.In the film it showed that this dog would constantly put himself between the lions at all times and you could see that both the female and male would mind that dog.Everytime the male would try to make a move the dog would thwart the effort by putting himself between that male and the female.it was very interesting and incredible to watch. So when you see your favorite dog the next time around, say "Yo'dog, how are you doing!!"
