It has been a sorrowful time these days, especially with the carnage at Virginia Tech. While my heart goes out to all the families of the students and teachers who lost their lives too soon, I feel the same towards the family of the shooter. How will his family recover from this? Hopes and dreams in a "new life" , in a "new world" shattered by the destruction of their son in war with himself. I can't imagine that all this was senseless, but the only sense I can make of it is that whatever we do always affects others....the ripple effect....even when we think we are alone, we are not....It is so easy to lay a blame and much harder to hold compassionate thoughts for this failed young man, but somewhere along the line, his new world failed him. Let's send love and light to ALL the families....
