Time Warp

Yesterday was quite a day!
I tend to start the active part of my day around 6:00 or so. Earlier I spend the time in meditation and contemplation and try to be really quiet so Roxy stays in her bed. Once I begin to turn on lights and head downstairs, I am followed ( and proceeded) by a small herd of four legged critters. There is sometimes a traffic jam on the stairs as I try to avoid them tangling with my feet as they rush for breakfast in the kitchen.
once the dog is situated in front of her bowl, quiet ensues once more. Then as i put away clean dishes form the night before I can look out the windows in to the world of back yard critters. Rah is sitting in the side window watching the activity of the side yard station. We have 3 stations and about 14 feeders. During the snow storms there were, literally hundreds of birds here as well as red squirrels, gray squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks... Many funny antics take place - and during the days if is a pleasure to look out and see constantly changing scenes. we have a diverse population at different times of the day different species show up. The rabbits seem to be first about dawn.
Around 9 am office help comes in. Usually before that I have started sessions. Yesterday energy was coming from all over. Callis coming in from all over the country and many projects needing attending. The website was acting up and my assistant could not get the information up on the pages she was trying to create...Max needed his lunch- during this weather it takes quite some time to "suit up" properly to wade out to the pasture in all of the show- I was late for Max and Rosie's lunch - they were fretful, and kicking at one another, avoiding the hooves took some balance in the deep snow with my burdens of grain and carrots! Non the less being outside ( away from the office) with the antics of kitties romping in the deep snow and fuzzy horses was quite a nice change )
Looking back, yesterday was a day of tasks- from all different areas of my life. I would finish one and the next needed tackeling...I was grateful for my sense of humor and for all the funny animals in my life ( even though there needs were a part of my tasks!) :)
Today? Today I am looking for a little slower pace!
